December 2017 # (Pre-rehearsal time: Time for Pre-Board Exams)

Sometimes, CBSE 10th and 12th students do not take pre-board exams seriously. Although, the marks of these pre-exams are not added to final CBSE results but one must attempt these exams with an honest effort.

Pre-board exams provide real time scenario similar to the CBSE board exams. From these exams, you can easily identify your weaknesses and understand what you need to study.  

Give pre board exams honestly and you will alsounderstand what you need to study on the last day before the exam. Before appearing in Pre – Board Examinations, you can also go through Class 12 Marking Scheme and CBSE toppers answer sheets (released by CBSE).

January 2018 # (CBSE Board Exam 2018 Date Sheet will release)

CBSE 10th & 12th board exam 2018 Date Sheet is expected to be released in the first week of January. Students preparing for CBSE board exam 2018 should plan their study accordingly as soon as the Date Sheet will be released.

It is expected that every students must have studied the complete Syllabus, by then.

Also, you can’t score well until and unless you will solve CBSE 12th and 10th practice papers based on latest examination pattern.

Solving previous year CBSE question papers (at least 5 to 10 year) is the key to score above 90% in CBSE board examinations.

Questions based on the concept given in previous year CBSE question papers are repeated frequently in CBSE Class 12 board exams.

February 2018 # (Revise & Practice: Don’t study anything new)

One should devote this month for revision purpose only. Do not study anything new in this month as you may get stuck in any new topic during last moment and it may add more confusion and may also result in wastage of precious time.

Students should revise NCERT textbooks & hand written notes prepared by themselves. Try solving at least 2 papers on daily basis.

Avoid excess use of Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and other social media websites. Usually students get stuck in unnecessary conversations or activities on these social sites which leads to emotional stress and hence wastage of time.

So, be honest to yourself and uninstall these apps or else opt for the last solution: hide your Smartphone somewhere (or give it to your parents) and follow your study timetable.
